Topic: TinyMCE 4.0.7 Released

This release contains a lot of important bug fixes and some new features to the importcss plugin and the paste plugin.

In the 4.0.6 release we fixed a few memory leaks. These fixes broke some of the event binding logic. This issue could break the initialization of the editor it didn't always happen. We also modified the way editor.destroy worked and apparently some users call this method directly so we reworked it to automatically call editor.remove if that some what internal API function was used externally.

Lots of fixes where added to the paste plugin when pasting word contents and plain text contents.

We reworked the searchreplace plugin so it's now easier to use and it doesn't auto focuses the editor.

Check the changelog for a complete list of changes.

Re: TinyMCE 4.0.7 Released

There is a problem with the past plugin 4.0.7

Failed to load: tinymce/plugins/paste/plugin.min.js although it excist.
After using the non min dev version it works so it looks like an corrupt file.

@ceasar: Couldn't reproduce it tinymce_4.0.7.zip, tinymce_4.0.7_dev.zip and tinymce_4.0.7_jquery.zip the zip archives unpack and is CRC32 correct. What Zip program/OS are you using?

Re: TinyMCE 4.0.7 Released

I post this here since the tracker doesn't seem to work tonight (can't find id...).
On FF some input fields height doesn't seem correct: 30px instead of 28px on Chrome.

FF version 24 (windows 7).

By the way the update is impressive.

Re: TinyMCE 4.0.7 Released

Seems to happen if you zoom in using for example ctrl+mouse wheel. By default it renders properly. Will investigate how to solve this rendering bug.

Oh thanks, I don't use any zoom on Firefox, but Firefox is "respecting the pixel density set on a system" (ref: http://support.mozilla.org/fr/questions/963759). Mine was at 110%. Setting the FF setting "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" to 1 (instead of -1) fixes the problem.

Re: TinyMCE 4.0.7 Released

@cclaerhout: Fixed now at least when I zoom in the browser on FF and Chrome. It now properly handles subpixel values.

@daptalms: This is a feature of FF and IE.

Re: TinyMCE 4.0.7 Released

hi! I am using version 4.0.7.
I use plagin "insert/edit video". I paste this text in Embed:
<embed id="mpl" width="285" height="178" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="../../Flashplayer/player.swf" name="mpl" quality="high" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" flashvars="file=http://tv.krasno.ru/Downloads/Video/Den_uchitelya.mov" />

but after push button Ok I have text:

<embed id="mpl" width="285" height="178" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="../../Flashplayer/player.swf" name="mpl" quality="high" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" allowscriptaccess="always" flashvars="file=http://tv.krasno.ru/Downloads/Video/Den_uchitelya.mov" />

Why
allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"?

Re: TinyMCE 4.0.7 Released

File a bug report if it prevents fullscreen from working. It's a standard way of producing boolean attributes.
